14:00 Pick up for Technical Visits at Mariott Hotel

14:30-16:30: Technical Visits 

Metro – Construction site of metro line II

1. Information Point. At the start of the visit a presentation will be made of general information and visualizations relating to the project.
2. Participants and guides move by foot or by vehicle (depending on which station is visited) to the construction site. During the tour of the construction site, employees (engineers) will provide detailed information on the station building process, the technologies applied and the machinery and equipment used.
3. The technical visit will end at the Metro Line II Central Section Construction Information Point.
4. Participants are transported to their hotel.   

Light rail – Visit to OCC and Wola tram depot

1. Technical visit begins in the conference hall of TW’s Tram Traffic Supervision building. Presentation of general information about the organization of transport in Warsaw and the organization of tram transport.
2. Move to the operators’ room at TW’s Traffic Centre. Presentation of ways of monitoring the traffic system within the city.
3. Move to the Wola tram depot. Tour of the depot, with particular attention to the positions for measuring flat places on wheels and for measuring tram wheel load.
4. During the visit, TW employees will provide information and answer participants’ questions.
5. Technical visit ends next to the depot building
6. Participants are taken to their hotel by a special tram.
